I'm gonna based this review not on "pizza" per say but based on Dominos franchise comparing it to others. Last month I ordered a two items, one of them which was a pizza was made incorrectly. I didn't know until I returned home. Called the restaurant, spoke to the manager on duty and I HAVE TO SAY that she took care of me, she fixed the issue by making another pizza without making a big deal about it. Good customer service.
This place messed up my order two times but they rectified the situation so well that by the end of it I was happy they messed it up(: and I've actually come here for years and this is the first time they have ever messed up my order, they refunded my money and allowed me to keep the messed up pizza, great customer service, they were super nice about it, I didn't even have to ask for the refund they had it ready for me when I walked in!
it's domino's pizza, what else do u expect. it's either good that day or not. staff is friendly, food is good, price is a little high.
So..... I'm reading through all of the reviews and "reviews" on here. One of the things I notice are that many of the "reviews" that give this place 1 or 2 stars are by people who have done only about 20 or less "reviews" in general. Recently; the wife and I were craving some Domino's Pizza just to give them a shot because we've been seeing the commercials about how great their app is and how their pizzas has/have improved for a while now. I downloaded their app; didn't find one of their carry out special deals, so we called the place. The young lady who answered the phone (I forgot her name) was really nice! We told her how we couldn't find the deal on the app, so she straight up gave us the coupon/deal code to type onto our app. We did it and I must say that the customer service through the phone off the bat, was phenomenal! Great communication, the code WORKED and the app is just f'n amazing. I dig how you basically get every detail of your pizza from it being prepped, to when it's ready right before you pick it up!!!! When I arrived at this particular Dominos, I was honestly kind of worried because of how sketchy the strip mall is/can be, since it's near Scottsdale projects (where some sh*t has gone down (but not always!) like a damn GTA San Andreas mission). This night was cool because I also noticed that they got a Top Flight-like security guard around the lot....and that's better than nobody watching your cars. When I went inside this Dominos, I was amazed at how spacious and nice it is for a simple go-to carry out establishment. Trust me... I've seen other Dominos and other pizza places that look like crrrrraaappppp. It's cool to me how this one stays up late for people coming home from work or on the way to events! Very very convenient! It's so clean and well organized inside, with great workers who were really nice to me. The guy who gave me my pizza stopped me before I left and fixed his botch by saying "hey, didn't you pay for some ranch?". All in all... this Dominos gets 5 stars from me because it's honestly the BEST go-to, grab and go Dominos I've ever been to. YES their pizza has improved and YES their app kicks ass along with their excellent customer service! Great job, Avalon Blvd. Dominos!!!!! Black Boxes Matter! :P
